These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Weekend Getaways website and services. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.

2. Description of Services

Weekend Getaways provides information, resources, and booking services for short-duration outdoor adventures, camping experiences, workshops, and related activities. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Information about camping destinations and short trips
• Educational content about outdoor activities and camping skills
• Workshops and training events related to outdoor skills
• Personalized trip recommendations and planning assistance

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

4. Booking and Cancellation Policies

When booking workshops, events, or personalized trip planning services through Weekend Getaways, the following policies apply:

4.1 Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from Weekend Getaways. Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

4.2 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary depending on the service booked:

• Workshops: Full refund if cancelled 14 days or more before the event date. 50% refund if cancelled 7-13 days before the event. No refund for cancellations less than 7 days before the event.
• Personalized Trip Planning: Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of purchase. 50% refund if cancelled after 48 hours but before delivery of the final plan. No refund once the final plan has been delivered.

Weekend Getaways reserves the right to cancel any event due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

5. User Content

Our services may allow you to post, submit, or contribute content ("User Content"). By providing User Content, you grant Weekend Getaways a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your content across our existing and future platforms and services.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you provide and the right to grant the license described above
• The User Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, intellectual property rights, or any other rights of any person or entity
• The User Content does not contain material that is false, intentionally misleading, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise unlawful

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these terms or that we find objectionable for any reason, without prior notice.

The Weekend Getaways website, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Weekend Getaways and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You may access and use our content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our materials without our express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

Weekend Getaways and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
• Any content obtained from the service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims, damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing our website or using our services during the six (6) months prior to bringing such claim.

8. Assumption of Risk

Outdoor activities and camping involve inherent risks. By using our services to plan or participate in outdoor activities, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with these activities, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, death, property damage, and the effects of weather and terrain conditions.

Weekend Getaways provides information and recommendations based on research and experience, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of all information. It is your responsibility to:

• Research and prepare appropriately for your outdoor activities
• Obtain proper permits and permissions
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and safety guidelines
• Assess and prepare for the risks based on your own abilities and the conditions

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Weekend Getaways, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Service or your use of the website or services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
